A little under an hour away from Purdue University's campus, the Williamsport Falls claim to be the highest waterfall in Indiana. It stands about 90 feet high and has no direct path to it. A group of college friends and I decided to go on a small adventure to find this hidden oasis. It was a serene and refreshing experience. Stomping through a creek with some difficulty and a lot of laughs, the freezing water numbed our feet until we reached the destination. Once we arrived, a few of us decided that we would submerge ourselves...after all, we had worked to get all the way there! The icy waters plunging from the top of the cliff pounded on our shoulders with some intensity and took our breath away. It was somewhat uncomfortable and extremely rejuvenating all at the same time. So, if you're in the area, the trek is worth it.
