This has got to be one of the coolest breweries out there. Dogfish Head's logo is "off-centered ales for off-centered people" and they really hit the mark with this one. When we visited, there was a wide variety of eclectic individuals gathered around various hang out spots at the brewery. The first step inside you were greeted with a host that presented you with a drink ticket, which allowed you to sample 4 beers for free! Walking through the building, there were small areas where people were lounging and talking about the complexities of life. Not only were there numerous places to sit and relax, there was a side shop where you could purchase cases of their beer and other merchandise related to the brand. Once picking up your beers from the horseshoe shape bar, you could stroll back outside to find three games of corn hole going on and two long courts of bocce ball. On the other side, there was a food truck that specializes in different grilled foods with a beer influence. Delicious! The steampunk tree house out in front is one of the most signature features found at the brewery and the history behind it is interesting, only to be described as "one man's trash is another man's treasure." If you are ever on the east coast, head to Milton, Delaware to find one of the unique breweries you'll probably ever go to.
